VendorUpdateMerchant.asp

This script is for those developers who wish to act in behalf of the merchant and edit his QuickCommerce configuration values in an automated fashion (recommended for generic software packages such as shopping carts).  The merchant's password is required in order to make these configuration changes.  However, if the developer does not wish to request the password from the merchant, VendorUpdateMerchant.asp will ask for a valid password before proceeding with the configuration update.  When the configuration has been completed, a simple html page indicating success is returned.  All the following request fields are optional except for LOGIN.
HTTP REQUEST FIELDS

This is the merchant's assigned QuickCommerce login id.

    PASSWORD
This field is optional.  If absent, VendorUpdateMerchant.asp will prompt the user for their QuickCommerce password using an html form.

    RETURN URL
The full URL (beginning with http://) of the script to be called after a transaction has been processed.

    RETURN METHOD
Specifies the method of the call to the RETURN URL above.  Set this to "POST" if data is desired, or set this to "LINK" if data is not desired.

    SILENT POST URL
The full URL (beginning with http://) of the Silent Post script to be called immediately after a transaction has been processed.  This Silent Posting is an optional process which is only performed if a value is specified in this field.  The very same data is passed to this URL as is passed to the RETURN URL above, however this call is done automatically and not within the browser interface.  Any response to the Silent Post is ignored.  The Silent Post is especially useful for developers who need to know that a successful transaction has been processed, even though the buyer neglects to click the Continue button on his QuickCommerce receipt (however, this problem can be avoided if the receipt is disabled using AuthPost.asp).
*other up datable fields can be added to this script based on your input
HTTP RESPONSE FIELDS

The response to calling VendorUpdateMerchant.asp will be an html page.  If the password is included in the request, the response will be a simply message indicating a successful update of the merchant's configuration.  If a password is not included in the request, the response will be a simple form prompting for the merchant's password, followed by the success message.  Obviously, if the password is left out, the call to VendorUpdateMerchant.asp will have to be done in a browser to allow the merchant to enter his password.
