E-Commerce Exchange Gets $30 Million;

E-Commerce Exchange of Irvine received $30
million from Summit Partners, a Palo Alto venture capital firm, in
exchange for an undisclosed amount of equity.
The 10-year-old ECX
offers small- and medium-sized businesses services to accept credit-card
payments over the Internet, as well as other online transaction
capabilities.
The company, which said it is profitable, has more than
200 employees.
